Job Title: Site Auditor

Department: Isle of Man Operations

Job Summary:

As a Site Auditor within our managed pub group, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits across various pub locations to ensure compliance with stock control, health and safety (H&S) regulations, kitchen standards, hygiene practices, paperwork accuracy, and other relevant operational processes. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with site management to drive continuous improvement in operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Control:

– Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accurate recording and monitoring of inventory.

– Investigate and report any discrepancies in stock levels.

– Advise on stock rotation, wastage reduction, and optimum ordering practices.

2. Health and Safety Compliance:

– Perform audits to ensure all sites adhere to health and safety regulations and standards.

– Identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

– Review and update H&S documentation, ensuring it aligns with current regulations.

3. Kitchen Compliance:

– Audit kitchen operations to ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene practices.

– Monitor food handling, storage, and preparation processes.

– Provide guidance on maintaining kitchen equipment and cleanliness.

4. Hygiene Standards:

– Assess cleanliness and hygiene levels in all areas of the pub.

– Recommend improvements to maintain high hygiene standards.

– Ensure compliance with COVID-19 guidelines and other relevant health protocols.

5. Paperwork and Documentation:

– Review and verify all operational paperwork for accuracy and completeness.

– Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and other regulatory documentation.

– Provide guidance on maintaining organized and up-to-date records.

6. Operational Audits:

– Conduct audits on various operational aspects, including customer service, staff performance, and adherence to company policies.

– Collaborate with site management to address identified areas for improvement.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

– Work closely with site managers and staff to implement audit recommendations.

– Provide training and support to ensure continuous improvement in operational standards.

– Communicate findings and recommendations to the Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Previous experience in a similar auditing role within the hospitality industry is beneficial

– Knowledge of stock control procedures, health and safety regulations, and kitchen compliance standards.

– Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness best practices.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements.

– Requires a full clean driving license.

– Competent in Microsoft Office
