Cluster manager for busy night time bars

Job: Town Centre Cluster Manager

Location: Isle of Man

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to fill the role of Cluster Manager for two town centre bars and the management of bars during the busy TT festival on the Isle of Man. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to take the next step in their career, overseeing multiple venues and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Duties (Approx. 50%):

Sales Development and Promotion:

· Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, including event planning, promotion, and advertising.

· Identify and execute lead generation opportunities to drive footfall.

Quality Control

· Ensure operational compliance and quality standards across all aspects of the venues.

· Conduct regular reviews of products and cellar management to maintain high standards.

People Development

· Lead training initiatives and development programs for the team.

· Foster a positive team culture through team building activities.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Troubleshooting

· Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.

· Implement corrective actions to enhance overall performance.

Operational Improvement

· Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and quality improvement.

· Implement measures to enhance overall operational performance.

Team Meetings

· Host regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and address any concerns.

· Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team.

Communication with Head Office

· Provide weekly updates and reports to head office on performance and activities.

Bar Work (Approx. 50%)

· Work alongside the team to cultivate a strong ethos and positive working environment.

· Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.

Cover for General Manager

· Assume responsibilities in the absence of the general manager, including managing the rota, ordering supplies, and overseeing cash management.

· Perform routine bar management duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

· Proven experience in bar management, particularly in busy town centre night-time venues.

· Desire to progress towards multi-site management.

· Energetic and passionate about business growth.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

· Comfortable working in later night venues.

· Expertise in cocktail preparation.

· Experience in managing live music and DJ events.

· Willingness to relocate to the Isle of Man.
